Confessions of a Clean Freak

Over the weekend I was "reunited and it feels so good..." with an old friend and it was magical. Last week while talking to my sister, Shannon, on the phone she told me to clean my floor with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, something I had never thought of using it to clean the floor before. When I went to buy the erasers I actually found a Magic Eraser Mop! That's right a mop that is sure to meet any clean freaks wildest moping dreams, I didn't even realize that it was a Magic Eraser Mop until I was at the Cash register, I think that the Cashier thought I was so weird because I couldn't hide my excitement. So I started cleaning with the magic eraser mop, I was amazed at how it made my floor shine. It was really life changing, but the mop wasn't enough for me so I got on my hands and knees and re moped with the magic eraser sponge, I had totally forgot how awesome this white little sponge is. Anyone who knows me knows that I love to clean and so once I started I couldn't stop. What started out as a floor mopping adventure became several hours of cleaning all the baseboards, doors, walls, cupboards and pretty much anything that was in our apartment. If you're thinking that this took a lot magic erasers, then you'd be right, I actually sent Chris to Walmart to buy reinforcements, I went through an entire box...that's right four magic erasers and that's not all Chris bought me all the boxes that were left and I went through one more Heavy Duty one and 2 more regular ones. It's crazy to think that I forgot how wonderful they are. I felt so satisfied when I was done, I finally felt like I could sit and relax without thinking about the baseboards needing attention or that the floor just never shined like I wanted it to. Needless to say I was reunited with a old friend and it defiantly felt so good!

hahaha you're hilarious!! I love the Mr Clean Magic Eraser too! Being a mom it has saved me on serval occasion, for instance Scott finding the crayons and "drawing" on the wall or using a sharpie, that's right a sharpie, on my decorative dishes. It is the best invention EVER! Now I know what to get you for your bday. hahaha

I love you Carree, you crack me up. I need to go buy that mop cause I've been searching for a good one. Wow I can't believe you scrubbed your whole house with the Magic Eraser. I am so excited that you're coming and we get to hangout, I keep telling Aaron.

Okay, so I didn't know that you were a cleaning freak! But get a load of this deal: They always have these What Women Want Expo's here in SG. I went once with my sister-in-law and there was a guy selling...magic erasers. Okay they weren't the "real" thing...but same thing nonetheless (you may think otherwise). To be honest I had never tried one before, but I went ahead and splurged. This guy worked at a factory in Hurricane that makes the fakes and he was selling all their miscuts for $5 a box......not like the box you buy at the store.......like a big box....I'll have to measure....anyway....I think you would be jealous....that is of course unless you hate the fake ones.......to be honest I haven't used that many of them....some days I wish I had the time and energy to deep clean my house the way you did!!! Long story...sorry!

Yeah Kim I am so jealous, now I am just going to have to hit up the next what women want expo is SG. Shannon would be jealous to, b/c she's just as bad as me. haha.

Honestly I am glad to hear that I am not alone in my love for the magic eraser I have honestly mopped my floor two more times this week, mind you it's only Chris and I in our apartment and we're not messy....I have an addiction...Maybe I should seek professional help...hahaha

the sad thing is I can really picture this.

Janel That is sad but you are one of the few people that truly know how weird I am about living in a clean place...haha I guess being companions and then later roommates with 6 other girls really shows our true colors. Hahaha

Just recently tried the Swifter duster. Amazing - plus i used the Pledge multisurface cleaner. I think you should try it. You'd never turn back.

Random: Nice work moving the fridge over and switching the side the trash can was on. Big difference in this last "pizza with squash" recipe/video.
